A Neighborhood of Houses with Tracey’s Quilt from Quilted Joy

In August of 2020, I was able to show everyone watching the Quilted Joy Clubhouse how I would quilt Tracey’s House Quilt. She had this Neighborhood of Houses top which she made to be a raffle quilt for her guild. Guilds can be a great way to gather with others with the same interests and learn and grow together.  They can not only be fun, but you can find support and encouragement there as well. I cannot recommend them enough. So this house quilt just makes me think of all her guild members sitting in their homes helping each ...

Eternity from Night Owl Quilting



This striking quilt is a store sample for Keystone Modern Creative.  The pattern is called Eternity and it is available in 12 different colorways of  Hoffman 1895 Watercolour batiks. The rich saturated colors are even more beautiful in person than in these photos.


Sometimes when a quilt arrives in my studio it just tells me how to quilt it.  These bold batiks on a solid black batik background were screaming at me for some custom quilting.  I ran my ideas by Leslie and she told me to go for it - play time for me!
